Fish Buying policy for The Perfectionists Café The Perfectionists Café is committed to ensuring a sustainable future for our oceans. We have pledged to serve only demonstrably sustainable fish and we have already removed fish considered ‘fish to avoid’ by the Marine Conservation Society.

All the fish that we serve at the moment is rated 1-3 by the Marine Conservation Society (The best option for sustainability) except tuna, which is rated ‘4’. We are looking into alternatives and will have switched to an alternative source of tuna by May 2020, in keeping with our pledge.

We’ve taken the ground-breaking ideas Heston explored in his TV series In Search of Perfection, and used them to create a truly exciting menu. Classics and comfort food cooked with skill – and the occasional twist!
